Housing Solutions Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in East London.In this role, you will provide housing advice, assess housing needs and help residents secure suitable accommodation.Duties:Assess residents'' housing needs and circumstances, identifying appropriate housing solutions.Provide clear and accurate advice on housing options, homelessness and tenancy matters.Manage a caseload, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and within required timescales.Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to secure suitable accommodation and support for residents.Qualifications and Experience:Experience working within a housing, homelessness or local authority environment.Experience assessing housing needs and providing housing advice to residents.Experience managing a caseload and maintaining accurate case records.Experience working with vulnerable customers and partner agencies to achieve housing outcomes.What''s on offer:Salary: 30ph+ may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience Contract type: 3-6 months minimumHours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per weekHow to apply:Once your CV is received, if you are successful, you will be contacted.Due to the extremely high number of applications, it may not be possible to contact every applicant.
