This role is designed to prevent homelessness at the earliest opportunity and will involve proactively engaging with customers who may be at risk of becoming homeless, providing targeted outreach work to those facing future homelessness. This will be achieved by working with a range of external partners and working across teams within the Council. Key Responsibilities To identify where applicants may become homeless or threatened with homelessness and be owed statutory duties under homeless legislation in the future. To provide positive interventions to customers at risk of homelessness and who lack the support or skills to prevent their situation worsening, using data to identify and target those most at risk. To collaborate effectively with partner agencies, landlord and letting agencies. To make effective preventative services and tools available to help prevent homelessness and crisis from arising.
