Working within a supportive Housing Solutions team, you will manage a varied caseload, helping individuals and families prevent or relieve homelessness while ensuring the Council meets its statutory obligations under current housing legislation.What You''ll Do as a Housing Solutions Officer Manage a caseload of customers who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, delivering advice and housing solutions. Carry out assessments under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and develop Personal Housing Plans tailored to individual needs. Work proactively to prevent homelessness by identifying suitable housing options and supporting customers to sustain accommodation. Liaise with landlords, letting agents, partner agencies and internal teams to secure appropriate housing solutions.
