Adecco are currently recruiting several experienced Housing Solutions Officers to join a fast-paced Housing Demand team within a London local authority. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in preventing and relieving homelessness, supporting vulnerable residents, and delivering impactful housing outcomes. Housing Solutions OfficerPublic Sector - Local AuthorityTemporary Role - 3 months with possible extensionFull Time - Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week 245 per day Umbrella inside IR35IT Equipment ProvidedASAP StartHybrid Working - 2 to 3 days per week in office (based in Ealing), remainder at home About YouYou will be an experienced Housing Officer with a strong background in homelessness prevention and casework within a local authority or similar environment.Essential skills and experience:Strong knowledge of Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, and relevant case lawProven experience managing complex caseloads and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environmentConfident conducting interviews, assessments, and drafting detailed decision lettersExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to customersStrong negotiation and problem-solving skills, particularly with landlords and support servicesCustomer-focused approach with empathy for vulnerable individualsOrganised, resilient, and able to work to strict statutory deadlinesKey ResponsibilitiesAssess homelessness applications in line with Housing Act ..... full job details .....
