Housing SolicitorSalary: £53,090 - £56,253 per annum plus excellent benefits Location: Walsall, West Midlands Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per weekClosing Date: 21 August 2026 Interview Date: 27 August 2026 and 3 September 2026We have an exciting opportunity in our Legal Team for an experienced Housing Solicitor to support and advise on housing related matters, housing condition claims and associated applications and claims. The ideal candidate will have experience of legal case management relating to housing matters eg tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and housing condition claims.You''ll support the delivery of legal services to whg by providing advice and representation across a range of housing litigation matters. Working closely with the Housing Litigation Manager and wider Legal team, you''ll manage your own caseload while contributing to a collaborative, supportive environment.Main job responsibilities:Managing a varied caseload of housing management matters including disrepair, rent possession, injunctions, tenancy succession and neighbourhood issuesPreparing cases for court, drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal documentationRepresenting whg in hearings across the County Court, Magistrates'' Court and First-tier TribunalAdvising colleagues on legal risks, responsibilities and options relating to social housingWorking closely with operational teams to support service delivery and case outcomesEnsuring compliance with legislation, court ..... full job details .....
