JOB DETAILS:

Are you an experienced Housing Reviews Officer/ Senior Reviews Officer/ Homelessness Review Officer or Housing Solutions Review Officer.? We are looking for an experienced Housing Reviews Officer to lead the statutory independent housing review function in accordance with the Housing Act 1996 (as amended), covering both homelessness decisions (Part 7) and housing allocations (Part 6). The post holder will ensure legal compliance and continuous service improvement through quality assurance, training, and expert guidance across the Housing Options team. Managing statutory housing reviews involve overseeing and processing reviews of housing decisions made by local authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies working within the local authority's Housing Advice and Options or Housing Solutions team.

This will be on a temporary ongoing basis, full time 37 hours per week paying from £30 per hour, higher rates would be considered so please stipulate minimum hourly rate requirement. Hybrid working, location in Rugby – 40% site presence, every Wednesdays then flexible.
