Salary: £45,000 to £70,000
PQE: NQ-5 years
A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its specialist Housing and Regeneration team, based in Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering hybrid working and flexibility to support work-life balance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in property transactions and public sector work to join one of the UK''s largest real estate groups. You’ll be part of a collaborative team advising on high-profile regeneration projects and development schemes across the country.
The RoleYou will support a wide range of public sector and housing clients on complex real estate matters. Responsibilities include:
Advising local authorities, central government bodies, and Registered Providers on regeneration and housing projects
Supporting land assembly including option and promotion agreements
Handling real estate transactions including leases, licences, infrastructure agreements, and overage arrangements
Drafting conditional sale agreements and advising on overage provisions
Contributing to the development of the firm\''s public sector real estate practice
Maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for business development
Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with experience in property law and public sector clients. Candidates should demonstrate:
Strong technical knowledge of property transactions and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Collaborative mindset and team spirit
Interest in regeneration and housing law
Location and Working Arrangements
Based in Bristol, with hybrid working available. The firm supports flexible arrangements to suit individual and team needs.
