Cessation of Duty officer Lambeth Contract £23.73 per hour PAYE or £30.96 per hour limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35 Our client is looking for an experienced Cessation of Duty officer This role is part of the new Cessation of Duty Team and will play a key part in delivering the council s key agenda of reducing the number of applicants in temporary accommodation or needing to go into temporary accommodation by ensuring offers of accommodation or other means to end Pt. 7 duties are enforced in a timely and robust way and can be defended on review. The roles will work closely with colleagues across Housing, Legal Services, and partner agencies including ASC and CSC. We are looking for experienced homelessness officers who can demonstrate: Knowledge of housing legislation, with particular focus on ending duties under section 193 and 188 of the housing act Experience of managing a caseload in a frontline service.
