Housing Options Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Options Officer for a local authority in East London.In this role, you will support residents facing homelessness by assessing their needs, providing expert housing advice, and delivering practical solutions that prevent homelessness and improve lives. Duties:Assess residents'' housing needs and determine statutory duties under homelessness legislation.Manage a caseload of homeless households, developing solutions to prevent homelessness.Prepare Personal Housing Plans, decisions, and accurate case records.Work with residents, landlords, and partners to secure suitable housing outcomes.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum 2 years'' experience in Housing Options, Prevention, or Homelessness services.Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and statutory assessment processes.Experience managing complex caseloads and making independent decisions.Proven ability to support vulnerable residents in a fast-paced environment.
