Ready for your next interim opportunity within Housing Options?A local authority in Hertfordshire is looking to appoint a well-rounded Interim Housing Options Officer to join their team on a contract basis for an initial 3 months.This role would suit someone comfortable managing a smaller caseload while also supporting with triage, offering a varied workload and the opportunity to be involved across the full housing options process.Key Responsibilities:Managing a reduced caseload of homelessness applications from first approach through to decisionSupporting the front-end of the service by carrying out triage and initial assessmentsConducting investigations in line with Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017Issuing statutory decisions, including Section 184 notificationsProducing and progressing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs), with a focus on prevention and reliefWhat you''ll need:Recent experience working within a Housing Options team in a UK local authorityConfident handling both triage and full homelessness caseworkAbility to attend the office 2 days per weekIf you are interested, please send your CV to (url removed) along with your availability for a call to discuss further. ..... full job details .....
