Salary: -32,000 - -40,000 per annum

The Role

As a Housing Officer, you will be a visible presence within your communities, building strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external agencies to deliver high-quality housing management services.

You''ll play a key role in tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management, ensuring services are responsive, compliant, and focused on achieving positive outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management services across your locality.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for residents, providing advice, support, and guidance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, community groups, contractors, and partner agencies.
• Utilise data and insight to improve service delivery and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support neighbourhood initiatives and community improvements, ensuring customer feedback helps shape services.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure information is managed responsibly and in line with data protection requirements.
• Champion organisational values, promoting collaboration, inclusion, and a customer-first culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you''ll have:

• Experience within housing management, tenancy management, leasehold services, or neighbourhood management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve complex situations.
• A collaborative approach and experience working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of landlord services and housing management practices.
• A customer-focused mindset with a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes.
• Confidence using digital systems and technology to support effective service delivery.
• A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
