Domestic Abuse Coordinator Location: Kirklees Pay: from £14.50 per hour, DOEContract: Full-Time, Temporary, 37 hours per weekSector: Housing / Domestic Abuse Support About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Domestic Abuse Worker to join a dedicated Domestic Abuse Service in Kirklees. This is an exciting opportunity to combine operational leadership with hands-on support, helping individuals and families rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment. You will oversee the day-to-day running of a refuge service while providing high-quality housing management and support to residents. Working alongside the Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the service delivers positive outcomes and maintains high standards of support, safeguarding and service delivery. This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. From supporting residents to secure long-term accommodation and independence, to leading safeguarding responses, developing staff and strengthening partnerships with external agencies, you''ll have a direct impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. Key Responsibilities Provide practical and emotional support to individuals affected by domestic abuse. Complete needs and risk assessments and develop person-centred support plans.
