We are currently recruiting for an experienced Homelessness Housing Officer to join a well-established housing association on a short-term temporary contract to support service delivery across the West Local Delivery Team.This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on tenancy management, allocations and lettings, and anti-social behaviour, supporting customers within Housing First and Foundations funded properties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring tenants can sustain their tenancies and access the support they need.Key responsibilities:• Manage the allocation and letting of empty homes in line with policy and performance standards• Deliver tenancy management services, including enforcement where required• Lead on anti-social behaviour cases, working with statutory and non-statutory agencies and attending court where necessary• Work closely with local authorities and support agencies to support tenancy sustainment• Liaise with Income Recovery and Welfare Benefits teams to maximise tenant income and ability to pay rent• Participate in multi-agency meetings, holding partners to account where appropriate• Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance reporting and service reviewsEssential experience and skills• Strong understanding of housing and homelessness legislation, tenancy agreements, and landlord and tenant responsibilities• Experience of tenancy management and customer-facing casework• Knowledge of welfare benefits and the impact ..... full job details .....
