Housing Officer

We are recruiting for a temporary Housing Officer to join a well-established housing provider on an initial contract through to the end of October, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.This is a hybrid working role, managing a housing patch across South Birmingham. You''ll be responsible for delivering a full range of tenancy management services, supporting residents, maintaining sustainable tenancies, and ensuring excellent customer service across your patch.The area benefits from very low levels of anti-social behaviour (ASB), allowing you to focus on proactive tenancy management and building positive relationships with residents.Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:Managing a designated housing patch and providing a high-quality tenancy management service.Carrying out tenancy visits, sign-ups, and end-of-tenancy processes.Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and resolve tenancy-related issues.Managing low-level ASB cases and neighbour disputes where required.Investigating tenancy breaches and taking appropriate action.Working with internal departments and external agencies to support residents.Maintaining accurate records and updating housing management systems.Delivering a customer-focused service while meeting performance targets.About You:Previous experience in a Housing Officer or Tenancy Management role.A good understanding of tenancy management legislation and housing best practice.Experience of managing ASB cases, although the ..... full job details .....
