We are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a Temporary Housing Officer to join their housing team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of housing management who enjoys working directly with residents and making a positive difference to their communities. The Role As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties and providing a high-quality housing management service to residents. You will work proactively to resolve issues, maintain strong resident relationships and ensure tenancy and housing management matters are dealt with effectively. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of residential tenancies and dealing with day-to-day housing management matters. Building positive and professional relationships with residents, providing advice and support where appropriate. Managing tenancy-related issues, including breaches of tenancy and anti-social behaviour. Carrying out tenancy visits, inspections and investigations as required. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to resolve complex cases. Taking appropriate action to address rent arrears and other tenancy-related issues. Ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained in line with organisational policies and procedures.
