Housing Officer - Social Housing (FTC until April 2027) Luton AreaMonday - Friday 9am - 5pm£32,697 plus £2,000 car allowance We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Housing Officer to manage a designated portfolio of homes, ensuring residents receive a high-quality housing management service. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sustainable tenancies, maintaining safe and well-managed neighbourhoods, resolving tenancy-related issues, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for residents. This role requires excellent communication skills, sound knowledge of housing management practices, and the ability to balance customer support with effective tenancy enforcement.Key Responsibilities:Deliver a comprehensive tenancy management service across a designated housing portfolio.Build positive relationships with residents, providing advice, guidance and practical solutions to tenancy-related enquiries.Promote tenancy sustainability by identifying support needs and referring residents to appropriate specialist services.Carry out regular estate and neighbourhood inspections, identifying environmental issues and arranging appropriate action.Investigate and manage lower-level anti-social behaviour cases, ensuring appropriate intervention and escalation where necessary.Identify safeguarding concerns and follow organisational procedures to ensure vulnerable residents receive appropriate ..... full job details .....
