My client is seeking a seeking a full time Housing Manager initially on a temporary basis, however the role could go permanent for the right candidate. Purpose of Job: To be the face of the organisation, fostering a sense of community and engagement among residents. To be responsible for running the office and providing an effective and responsive service to all residents. To work under the direction of the Management Committee who will decide the policies and set its priorities and objectives. To lead, motivate, and inspire the staff team to achieve the aims and drive continuous improvement. Housing Management: To manage rent payments and take appropriate action to recover arrears. To oversee arrange property viewings and accompany prospective tenants. To provide housing and benefit advice to residents. To address management problems such as noise complaints, anti-social behaviour, and parking issues. To issue transfer application forms and liaise with Wandsworth Council.
