Role - HOUSING MANAGER - c£45,000 + Benefits PERMANENT ROLE REPORTS TO DIRECTOR OF HOUSING and SUPPORT MANAGE 2 HOUSING OFFICERS EXCELLENT WORKING ENVIRONMENT MUST HAVE HOUSING SECTOR EXPERIENCE Our client is a leader in their field and are now looking for an experienced Housing Manager who will be responsible to the Director of Housing and Support for providing excellent delivery of housing and tenancy services, including allocations, rent arrears prevention and recovery, tenancy management and tackling anti-social behaviour. You will manage a small team of housing officers. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that tenancy services comply with best practice, the law and the regulatory framework and that all relevant policies, procedures, processes and administrative systems are regularly reviewed and updated. Manage day to day tenancy services expenditure in line with budget. Manage, develop and support the Housing Officers Ensure the team provides an effective, high quality, customer focussed service including: o Allocations, tenancy move-ons and transfers o Nominations to the Veterans Nominations Scheme o Rent collection and arrears management o Housing Benefit information and advice o Resident engagement o Enforcement of tenancy conditions o Dealing with neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour o Tenancy sustainment and support Skills and Experience Demonstrable experience in a housing manager role Proven up to date knowledge of Housing law, welfare reform, legal ..... full job details .....
