Housing Litigation Lawyer (Hybrid) needed in Westminster, £55ph

– Reference: RQ1538737You will be responsible for managing a busy caseload of housing litigation matters, including:Possession proceedingsAnti-social behaviour (ASB) injunctionsDisrepair claimsTenancy-related adviceSuccession and other housing law mattersYou will report to the Principal Lawyer and work closely with colleagues across Legal Services and Housing teams.The role is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-office work based in Westminster.Key Responsibilities:Take over and manage a live caseload of 50 complex housing litigation mattersProvide clear, practical legal advice to internal clientsRepresent the council in court proceedings and liaise with counsel where necessaryDraft legal documents and correspondenceRespond to new instructions efficiently and support the wider team during high-demand periodsThis is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.If you are interested in the role please apply on our website with your CV, alternatively you can email your CV to katie@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number.Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
