We are looking for a Housing Support Worker to do just that provide the support required for young people (16 - 24) to move forward. What are the basics? Permanent contractFull time employment 35 hours per weekMonday to FridaySalary of 23,982 + on call paymentsExtra payments for shifts covered outside of normal working hoursExcellent holiday package that grows up to 40 days of leave (incl. Support young people 16 to 24 years of ageWork with individuals who present with challenging and complex livesAssist in moving people towards sustainable and suitable accommodationHelp young people to sustain a long-term tenancyApply the housing first approach to the work you doCarry out risk assessments and construct support plansUse a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to the work you doWorking across the Swansea area with your caseload of young people What do you need? Good knowledge of housing related supportAble to support young people with chaotic and complex livesA solid understanding of the effects of homelessnessExperience of multi-agency working with other services, partners and organisationsExcellent communication and IT skillsA good record keeperA driver with access to a ..... full job details .....
