Housing Engagement and Inclusion Officer
We are seeking an experienced Housing Engagement and Inclusion Officer to join a Local Authority in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring tenants and leaseholders have a meaningful voice in the development and delivery of housing services.
You will lead on resident engagement, developing both existing and new ways for tenants to influence and scrutinise housing strategies, policies and services. A key focus will be ensuring engagement is accessible and inclusive, giving residents from diverse backgrounds appropriate opportunities to contribute and have their views heard.
Responsibilities will include delivering consultations, surveys and resident engagement activities, gathering and analysing feedback, and communicating how residents'' views have influenced service improvements. You will also support digital inclusion, develop content for websites, social media, newsletters and reports, and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement methods.
The successful candidate will have strong resident engagement, consultation and communication skills, ideally within housing, local government or a similar public-sector environment. You should be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and have a good understanding of equality, inclusion and regulatory requirements relating to tenant engagement.
