The successful candidate will work with landlords, letting agents, residents and partner agencies to address housing conditions, support HMO compliance and help resolve issues including disrepair, overcrowding, harassment and unlawful eviction. Key Responsibilities as a Housing Enforcement Officer Carry out property inspections and housing condition assessments, including HHSRS assessments. Investigate complaints and identify appropriate solutions and interventions. Work with landlords and HMO managers to improve standards and ensure compliance. Support licensing and enforcement activity, including notices, civil penalties and rent repayment orders where appropriate.
