Location: BirminghamSalary: Competitive + BenefitsHybrid Working Available I am currently working with a highly regarded law firm that is looking to expand its housing disrepair team with the appointment of an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor.This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in housing disrepair claims to manage a varied caseload while contributing to the continued success and growth of the department. The RoleYou will be responsible for:Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims from instruction to conclusion.Advise clients on housing conditions, landlord obligations, and available remedies.Draft legal documents including letters of claim, witness statements, schedules of works, and court pleadings.Conduct negotiations with landlords, local authorities, housing associations, and their representatives.Instruct and liaise with surveyors, experts, and counsel.Attend court hearings and case management conferences where required.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, procedural rules, and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate case records using the firm''s case management systems.Meet individual and departmental performance targets.
