Housing Disrepair Solicitor I''m working with a practice that is looking to appoint an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join their busy litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident managing a high-volume caseload and keen to progress claims efficiently from instruction through to settlement. The Role You''ll be responsible for a varied caseload of Housing Disrepair matters, including: Managing a high-volume caseload and working at pace to meet competing deadlines. Applying strong knowledge of the CPR, Housing Conditions Pre-Action Protocol, and relevant housing legislation. Reviewing cases for issues, issuing proceedings, assessing Defences and drafting Replies. Preparing cases for allocation, directions, PTRs and trial. Reviewing expert reports (Claimant and Defendant) and draftingPart 35 questions. Negotiating and achieving effective settlements. Maintaining accurate case records using case management systems. Providing excellent client care and clear communication throughout each matter. Taking a commercial, pragmatic approach to litigation with a focus on progressing and resolving claims efficiently. Candidate Profile You will bring: Strong legal drafting, analytical and organisational skills. Excellent negotiation ability. Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
