Housing Disrepair Lead

Description Our local government clients are recruiting a Housing Disrepair Lead. We are looking for someone who has extensive relevant experience working in a social housing, Repairs, and Maintenance environment. The successful candidate must be experienced in carrying out investigations to resolve complex repair-related complaints and have a demonstrable working knowledge of legislation relating to Housing Disrepair - Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS). Your Key Responsibilities will include: The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in carrying out quality inspections, investigations, audits, preparing detailed technical reports and specification of works in accordance with current Building Regulations and appropriate legislation, including the Party Wall Act 1996, with the ability to develop positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including our in-house and external Repairs Contractors. Qualification Essential GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics. Relevant professional-level qualification. Advanced user Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media: Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Evaluated at the Shortlisting Stage.
