Sellick Partnership are looking for a dedicated Housing Caseworker to join our Housing Needs team. This is a vital role where you''ll work directly with individuals and families at risk of homelessness, helping them to retain or secure safe and sustainable housing.
Key Responsibilities of the Housing Caseworker:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred housing advice and advocacy.
- Preventing homelessness through proactive interventions and support.
- Assessing and discharging the council''s statutory duties under homelessness legislation.
- Liaising with landlords, support agencies, and other stakeholders to secure housing solutions.
- Managing a caseload and maintaining accurate records of casework and outcomes.
The successful Housing Caseworker will have:
- Experience working with vulnerable clients in a public-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing rights, and welfare benefits.
