As a Housing Capital Programme Contract Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality improvement projects to 5,600 landlord properties within the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). With an annual budget of approximately 20m, your work will directly impact the lives of residents by ensuring their homes are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Oversee large, complex projects within the social housing sector, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead communication with tenants, residents, public groups, and Elected Members to build and maintain strong relationships.- Contract Management: Facilitate and direct activities by external contractors to ensure all contractual obligations are met.- Financial Management: Manage budgets for allocated contracts, ranging from 10k to 3m, ensuring cost-effective delivery.- Health and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.Skills and Experience Required:Essential:- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIOB) or extensive experience in the construction sector.- Good general ..... full job details .....
