Housing Asset and Investment Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Asset Manager to join a respected regional social housing provider on a temporary 3-month (plus potential extension) basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to lead and develop the Investment Team, ensuring effective delivery of asset management, maintenance, and decarbonisation programmes across a diverse housing portfolio. Key Responsibilities As Housing Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the effective performance, direction, and leadership of the Investment Team, including: Responsible for the performance management and development of the investment team to ensure objectives, KPIs and targets are achieved. Monitor key performance indicators and tasks covering the investment team. Leading on building surveying and tenant liaison services for planned maintenance and improvement programmes. Driving the organisation s social housing decarbonisation agenda, ensuring energy efficiency data is accurate and properties meet current legislation. Managing investment and improvement projects for the housing stock and other HRA assets. Overseeing procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies. Ensuring leaseholder engagement and effective cost recovery for investment works.
