The successful candidate will provide comprehensive housing advice and casework, with a strong focus on preventing and relieving homelessness in accordance with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, Housing Act 1996 Part VII, Code of Guidance and relevant case law. Key responsibilities include managing a complex caseload, completing housing needs assessments and Personalised Housing Plans, investigating homelessness applications and recommending appropriate decisions. You will work proactively with customers to explore all available housing options and prevent homelessness through advice, advocacy, landlord negotiation, mediation and access to alternative accommodation.
