About the Role
A Housekeeping Team Member is required in St Andrews to maintain cleanliness across a busy property. This full-time role offers £14.04 per hour and involves an 8-week assignment starting ASAP, with possible extension. Working 8:00am to 4:00pm, five days out of seven, weekend work is initially required. Key responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, servicing bedrooms and bathrooms, performing dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising, and promptly reporting maintenance or safety issues. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, reliability, and the ability to uphold high standards.

Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join their team, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across a busy property.

Start Date & Duration: Start ASAP - 8-week assignment, with the possibility of an extensionHours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (some flexibility can be accommodated) - 5 days out of 7 - Weekend working will be required initially
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain communal areas, including kitchens, lounges, corridors, stairwells, and other shared spaces.
- Service and prepare bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising.
- Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
- Deliver excellent standards of cleanliness and customer service at all times.
- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
- Good communication skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Experience working in hotels, hospitality, or residential settings would be an advantage.
