Job Title: Housekeeping SupervisorLocation: Edinburgh City CentreRate: £13.50 per hourHours: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)Contract: Temporary ongoing assignment with the potential to become permanentJob OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join a busy site within Edinburgh City Centre. This is a temporary ongoing role offering consistent hours, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service delivery at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operationsAllocate workloads and manage staff rotas across a 5 over 7 shift patternConduct room and area inspections to ensure standards are metTrain, support, and motivate housekeeping team membersEnsure health and safety and COSHH regulations are followedMaintain stock levels and report maintenance or supply issuesLiaise with management and other departments as requiredHandle staff performance issues professionally and fairlyRequired Skills and ExperiencePrevious housekeeping supervisory experience (hotel, student accommodation, serviced apartments, or similar environment)Strong leadership and communication skillsHigh attention to detail with a focus on quality standardsAbility to work flexibly, including weekendsGood understanding of health and safety proceduresReliable, organised, and ..... full job details .....
