Housekeeping and Waste Management Operative Radstock Competitive Salary Permanent, Part Time Working Hours:20 hours a week (12:00-16:00 Monday - Friday) About the role We are looking for a Housekeeping and Waste Management Operative to join our team and take ownership of housekeeping and waste management across our site. This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, tidy and efficient working environment across our production areas, external yards and waste storage areas. You will work largely independently, organising your day-to-day activities while responding to any priority housekeeping requirements as they arise. The role would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, has a practical approach to their work and is confident working safely and independently. What you''ll be doing Managing the day-to-day handling of site waste, including cardboard, plastics, general waste and recycling. Ensuring waste is correctly segregated, labelled and stored ready for collection or disposal. Operating waste-handling equipment such as balers and compactors safely and in line with site procedures. Supporting and liaising with recycling and waste contractors during scheduled collections. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across production areas, shared spaces, external yards and waste storage areas. Cleaning plant and equipment during agreed downtime periods and following the appropriate safe working procedures. ..... full job details .....
