Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant

Salary: £13.35 per hour
Job Type: Full and part time hours available alternate weekends

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to people's lives?

We are looking for Housekeeping & Laundry Assistants to join our friendly team and help us maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming home for our residents.

You will play an important role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant environment, while also making sure their laundry is clean, fresh and returned to them promptly.

As a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning residents' rooms and communal areas to a high standard.
  • laundering and ironing our residents’ clothing, putting it away tidily and ensuring wardrobes and drawers are always clean and neat, and repairing clothing where necessary
  • Building positive relationships with our residents and respecting their individual needs and preferences

About you

You don't necessarily need previous care home experience – a positive attitude, good work ethic and caring nature are what matter most to us.

You will be reliable, organised and take pride in your work. You'll also be happy to work as part of a team and have a friendly, respectful approach when interacting with our residents.
