The family are looking for someone with strong initiative who is confident organising their own day, staying on top of all housekeeping duties, running errands, arranging contractors and generally making sure everything relating to the home is taken care of. They are often between London and their country home, so there is a good balance of quieter days to get everything in order and busier days when the family are in residence. The home contains a beautiful collection of antiques, artwork and silverware, so previous experience caring for delicate and valuable items is essential.
