Housekeeper

This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests or residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
• Restock supplies and amenities in guest rooms and communal areas as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly attitude.
• Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
• Maintain an organised cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are attended to regularly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Experience in a hotel setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
