Household Planning OfficerHourly Rate: From £14.91Location: BoltonJob Type: Full-time, TemporaryWe are seeking a dedicated Household Planning Officer to join our team in Bolton. This role offers hybrid working with a base at the Bolton Town Hall, which boasts excellent facilities and accessibility. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assessing and managing householder and minor planning applications and other related matters.Day-to-day of the role:Assess, review, negotiate, seek amendments, evaluate, and make recommendations on householder and minor planning applications, enquiries, appeals, and other related matters in accordance with all relevant regulations, legislation, policy, and professional standards.Maintain accurate records of all planning activities.Provide advice and information regarding planning applications, enforcement, and related matters.Assist in the implementation and monitoring of supplementary planning documents, policy notes, development briefs, and other planning documents.Provide technical support to Planning Officers and Principal Planning Officers.Contribute to the Planning Service priorities, performance indicators, and service improvements.Promote and engage in the use of ICT hardware and software in planning processes.Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders including council departments, elected members, staff, and customers.Perform additional duties as directed by the Planning Development Manager and Principal ..... full job details .....
