The role mixes pastoral care, housekeeping and administration, and you''ll work as part of a close house team supporting around 60 pupils aged 13 to 18.About Malvern CollegeMalvern College is a leading independent co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 13 to 18, with a 158-year history. Many pupils join from its affiliated prep school, The Downs Malvern, which educates 200 children aged 3 to 13. The two campuses sit on the slopes of the Malvern Hills in 250 acres of grounds. The Malvern family also includes sister schools in Qingdao, Chengdu, New Cairo, Hong Kong and Tokyo, and more than 4,200 pupils are educated across the group worldwide.The roleEach boarding house is home to about 60 pupils. The house team is made up of the Housemaster or Housemistress (HSM), a Deputy HSM and the House Assistants. As a House Assistant you''ll be a visible, approachable presence for pupils. You''ll give day-to-day care and know when a pupil needs more specialist support.
