We are seeking a dedicated Hotspot Outreach Worker to locate, engage, and provide support to those in need in the NW London area. In this role, you will work tirelessly to help individuals make positive changes in their lives and transition towards securing stable accommodation.Key Responsibilities:Conducting outreach shifts at various times, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, in all weather conditionsEngaging with individuals experiencing rough sleeping and those involved in street-based activitiesCollaborating with partner agencies to facilitate access to accommodation, healthcare services, substance use support, and other necessary resourcesRecording interactions accurately to ensure effective support and collaboration with professionalsEducation Knowledge and Experience:Previous experience in engaging and supporting individuals with severe and multiple unmet needsEffective communication skills with individuals requiring supportAbility to record sensitive information in a timely mannerKnowledge of homelessness-related issues such as the benefits system, substance use, mental or physical health, and housingFamiliarity with safeguarding procedures and crisis managementAbilities and Skills:Strong time ..... full job details .....
