The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for leading the full commercial strategy across all business verticals, including hotels, hospitality, retail, events, and entertainment within a large-scale integrated resort (destination). This executive role drives revenue growth, market leadership, and brand equity, ensuring sustainable profitability and competitive differentiation in the region.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the CCO will design and execute cohesive revenue models, align cross-functional operations, and position the destination as a premier lifestyle and tourism hub in South Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated commercial strategy:
Develop and execute an integrated commercial strategy across hospitality, retail, MICE, and entertainment.
Strategic planning:
Translate vision into actionable plans with defined revenue, market share, and brand growth targets.
Market insights:
Identify and leverage emerging market trends, customer segments, and lifestyle experiences.
Partnerships:
Build strategic partnerships with airlines, tourism bodies, corporations, and event promoters.
Representation:
Represent the property at trade shows, investor briefings, and industry forums.
Revenue management:
Drive total revenue management across all business streams (rooms, events, FandB, retail).
Pricing and analytics:
Optimize pricing, distribution, and demand forecasting through advanced revenue systems and analytics.
Data-driven decisions:
Lead data-driven decision-making with BI tools and competitor benchmarking.
Revenue integrity:
Ensure revenue integrity and compliance across all sales and booking channels.
MICE, Events and Entertainment Leadership:
Position the property as a key destination for regional and international conferences, exhibitions, and entertainment; oversee acquisition and delivery of high-profile events; develop destination-defining experiences and partnerships with entertainment agencies and cultural institutions; integrate events with hotel, retail, and FandB operations to maximize total revenue.
Retail and Leasing Strategy:
Curate and manage a premium retail mix with international brands and experiential concepts; drive footfall and commercial performance through placemaking, marketing, and events; oversee tenant engagement, compliance, and sales performance; develop strategic leasing partnerships and co-marketing campaigns.
Marketing, Brand and Digital Transformation:
Lead brand positioning across all verticals for domestic and international markets; oversee global marketing campaigns targeting key feeder markets (India, China, Asia-Pacific); expand digital capabilities including CRM, loyalty programs, and direct-to-consumer platforms; champion personalization, automation, and digital guest engagement strategies.
Financial Performance and Innovation:
Deliver revenue, EBITDA, and ROI targets across all business units; build long-term commercial and financial models integrating multiple revenue streams; identify and develop non-traditional revenue sources (e.g., sponsorships, naming rights, digital content); align budgets and forecasts with corporate governance and shareholder expectations; lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team; promote a results-driven culture with KPIs and continuous development; champion diversity, sustainability, and corporate responsibility in all commercial strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field. International academic exposure is an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership in commercial roles within integrated resorts, luxury hotels, or large-scale lifestyle complexes.
Proven track record in total revenue management, MICE business, entertainment commercialization, and retail leasing.
Strong knowledge of distribution, pricing strategies, marketing, and digital transformation.
Familiarity with regional and international travel trends, particularly in Asia-Pacific markets.
Financial acumen with expertise in forecasting, PandL management, and strategic planning.

Corporate clients, DMCs, tourism boards; retail brands, leasing partners, event agencies; government, regulatory bodies, media, and PR agencies; strategic partners, including casino and entertainment ventures
