An excellent opportunity for an experienced Hot Forge Operator to join a well-established company!Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.Salary: Competitive Salary, Negotiable Depending on Experience.Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV2.Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7am-4pm - Friday 7am-3.45pm.About The Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hot Forge Operator to join one of the UKs award winning leading manufacturers of High-Quality Special Fasteners.You''ll be responsible for setting and running hot forging presses, carrying out tooling changeovers, and producing high-quality bolts, nuts, and custom fasteners.Our long-serving operator is now semi-retired, so we need someone who can step straight into the role with solid hands-on forging experience.Key Responsibilities:Set and operate hot forging presses and induction heatersComplete die/tooling set-ups and adjustmentsCheck parts during production to maintain qualityHandle hot materials and tooling safelyFollow all health and safety proceduresIdeal CandidateExperience with hot forging machines or pressesStrong mechanical aptitudeAble to work independently and safelyGood communication and reliabilityFastener industry experience is a bonusYou Need to be confident with forging equipment and take pride in producing quality components.
