This is an important frontline role supporting the safe, efficient movement and disposal of waste across a busy hospital environment. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to wards and departments, ensuring all waste streams are handled safely, compliantly, and in line with environmental legislation. Key Responsibilities Collect, transport, and dispose of clinical, hazardous, and general waste, as well as laundry, across the site Ensure correct segregation, handling, and storage of all waste types Exchange sharps containers and manage confidential and condemned waste Operate equipment such as electric tugs, compactors, and balers (full training provided) Maintain cleanliness and organisation of waste storage areas and external zones Complete all required documentation in line with legal and organisational requirements Report faults, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly Work collaboratively with colleague...
