Hospital Services Supervisor Location: Swindon Pay: 14.10 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days Shifts: 07:00-15:00 or 11:00-19:00 Rota: Fixed rota including weekend working We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hospital Services Supervisor to oversee cleaning, housekeeping and patient catering services within a busy hospital environment. This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for leading and supporting a team of cleaning staff and ward hosts, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety and patient service are maintained. Key Responsibilities Supervise, motivate and support cleaning staff and ward hosts. Ensure staffing levels and daily cleaning and catering schedules are maintained. Monitor service standards and complete quality and competency checks. Provide training, guidance and support to new and existing team members. Ensure food safety, HACCP, infection control, COSHH and Health and Safety procedures are followed. Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials, consumables and catering provisions. Deal with patient/customer feedback and complaints professionally. Report accidents, incidents, hazards and maintenance issues appropriately. Manage operational issues during your shift and escalate where required. Maintain accurate records, training documentation and reports.
