You''ll join a team of around 150 Hospital Optometrists, working across a variety of clinics including pre-operative, post-operative and YAG laser services. There are also opportunities to develop your skills in areas such as Medical Retina and Glaucoma, as well as the private Freedom Vision service. The Role As a Hospital Optometrist, you will: Perform pre- and post-operative assessments for cataract surgery patients. Conduct pre-operative assessments for YAG laser capsulotomy referrals. Obtain informed consent professionally and ethically. Participate in the on-call and weekend rota. Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
