Hospital Optometrist Location: Sayers Common, West Sussex Salary: £60,154 - £67,956 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, 9am-5pm Working Pattern: 5 days per week, including 1 Saturday in every 4 weeks Weekend Working: Any weekend working will be accommodated with a rota day off On Call: Included as part of the rota Looking for a new direction in your optometry career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hospital Optometrist to join one of the UK''s leading providers of NHS cataract surgery. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist looking to develop their clinical skills and move into hospital optometry. Previous hospital experience isn''t essential, as full training will be provided, with support from experienced senior optometrists throughout your development. The role focuses entirely on patient care rather than sales targets or KPIs, giving you the opportunity to build your clinical expertise across a varied range of ophthalmic services. You will join an established team of hospital optometrists supporting cataract services across pre-operative, post-operative and YAG laser clinics. There are also opportunities to develop your skills in areas such as Medical Retina and Glaucoma, as well as the organisation''s private service.
