Position: Hospital Catering Assistant
Hours: Part-Time, 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday (4-8 PM)
Location: Norfolk and Norwich Hospital
As a Hospital Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive nourishing meals and a welcoming dining experience. Your efforts will help enhance their comfort during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve Meals: Deliver delicious meals to patients with a smile, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Water Jugs: Keep patients hydrated by regularly refilling water jugs, making sure they always have access to fresh water.
- Collecting & Cleaning: Efficiently collect trays and utensils after meals and maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
- Washing Up: Handle dishwashing duties with care, ensuring all kitchenware is spotless and ready for the next service.
- Kitchen Cleaning: Assist in keeping the kitchen tidy and organised, following health and safety standards.
What We''re Looking For:
- A friendly and approachable demeanour to create a positive atmosphere for our patients.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure meals are served and presented beautifully.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is a plus, but not essential.
