Horticulture LecturerContract Type: Temporary Full-timeLocation: North LondonSchedule: 37 hours per week (4 days teaching, 1 day PPA)Start Date: 12th JanuaryDuration: 5-week blockWe are seeking two Horticulture Lecturers to deliver City and Guilds Level 2 Practical courses at our Enfield Campus. This temporary full-time role is an excellent opportunity for educators passionate about horticulture and eager to engage and inspire students in this field.Day-to-day of the role:Deliver engaging and informative lectures on City and Guilds Level 2 Practical Horticulture to students.Prepare lesson plans and materials for each class session.Allocate one day per week for Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate student success.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and grades.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in teaching horticulture or a related field.Strong knowledge of the City and Guilds Level 2 Practical Horticulture curriculum.Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.Benefits:Competitive pay (please submit your quote for pay along with your application).Flexible interview scheduling via Microsoft Teams.Opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of ..... full job details .....
