Conduct detailed homelessness assessments, investigating housing circumstances, eligibility, vulnerability and support needs. Make statutory decisions under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996, including drafting and issuing Section 184 decision letters. Develop, implement and review Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs) to prevent and relieve homelessness. Deliver prevention and relief duties in accordance with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. Provide housing options advice covering private rented accommodation, social housing, supported housing and alternative housing solutions.
