Locations: Chelmsford Braintree Colchester Basildon Witham Benfleet Harlow Salary: 15.25 per hour (UMBRELLA) Full job description We are looking for compassionate and experienced Male and Female Support Workers/Carers to provide high-quality support to children and young people with complex care needs in their homes and within the community. Responsibilities: Provide safe, consistent, and person-centred support within the home and community. Deliver high-quality care tailored to each child''s individual needs and care plan. Support with communication, emotional regulation, personal care, and daily living activities where required. Plan and facilitate engaging, structured, and sensory-friendly activities that promote development, independence, and wellbeing. Encourage participation in community-based activities while ensuring the child''s safety and comfort. Build positive relationships with children, families, and other professionals involved in their care. Accurately record care provided and report any concerns in line with safeguarding procedures. Requirements Must hold a full UK driving licence and own a reliable car for travelling to client locations and supporting community-based activities. At least 6 months'' recent UK care experience, preferably supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs.
