      <description>Location: Barnsley | Salary: &amp;pound;28598 - &amp;pound;31022/annum | Type: Permanent | We are inviting applications for the role of Home Fire Safety Advisor within the Prevention function, based at either Barnsley or Doncaster Station.   Home Fire Safety Advisor   Location(s): Barnsley Station S70  or  Doncaster Station DN2  Hours:  Full  or  Part Time available  Contract(s):  Permanent x6  Salary:  £28,598 – £31,022 per annum, pro rata for part time hours (Grade 5). To increase subject to national pay award negotiations for 2026.  This is a vital frontline role focused on safeguarding and protecting vulnerable individuals through the delivery of targeted, high-quality home safety interventions across South Yorkshire. Home Fire Safety Advisors work directly with individuals, families and communities to identify and reduce fire risk, promote safer behaviours, and ensure appropriate support is in place for those most at risk of harm or neglect.
