HOME CARER – MOLD AREA

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions | Day & Night Shifts Available

Location: Mold and surrounding area
Pay: £13.50 – £18.00 per hour
Mileage: 45p per mile
Shifts: Days and nights, including weekends

We are looking for a caring, reliable and friendly Home Carer to provide one-to-one support to a gentleman with a spinal injury who is wheelchair dependent and lives independently in his own home with his children.

YOU MUST HAVE A FULL DRIVING LICENCE TO DRIVE THE GENTLEMAN''S ADAPTED VEHICLE AND HAVE YOUR OWN CAR.

This is a rewarding opportunity to become a valued member of a small, established care team and make a genuine difference to the gentleman and his family''s day-to-day life.

Previous care experience is desirable but NOT essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay Rates

• Day shifts Monday–Sunday: £16.00 per hour
• Following completion of training: £18.00 per hour
• Night shifts (8:00pm–8:00am): £16.00 per hour for waking hours
• Sleep hours: £13.50 per hour
• Enhanced rates for applicable Bank Holidays
• Mileage allowance: 45p per mile

The Role

As a Home Carer, you will provide practical and personal support to enable the gentleman to continue living independently in his own home.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with all aspects of personal care, including washing, bathing and continence care
• Supporting mobility and day-to-day activities
• Preparing meals and providing assistance at mealtimes
• Carrying out general domestic duties
• Providing companionship and practical support
• Working as part of a small, established care team
• Working on a rota basis, including weekends
• Driving the gentleman''s adapted vehicle when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally caring, patient, friendly and dependable.

Previous experience within care would be beneficial; however, experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

You must:

• You will ideally be experienced in care but this is not essential as full training is provided.
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be confident driving the gentleman''s adapted vehicle
• Have your own car
• Be reliable and committed
• Be comfortable providing personal care
• Be able to work as part of a rota, including weekends

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a DBS check, with the cost covered by the employer.
